Anzac Day Remembrance and Bowls 25 April 2026
The weather could not have been better for our afternoon Remembrance Ceremony and game of bowls! We had 22 teams for a total of 66 players using two greens. The poem was read by Veteran Terry Margrain and the Flag was raised and lowered by Veteral Geoff Hatherley. Terry’s daughter Jean shared some information we never knew about one of the campaign’s Terry participated in when in Vietnam and it was really moving. And the bowls competition was played in good spirit and good competition. We finished the afternoon with a sausage sizzle and salads before handing out the prizes. Thanks to all who were there!
